    Hi,
My main language on the website is set to Dutch. Optimizing the Dutch pages with Yoast works perfectly. However the content analysis works not good at my English pages because it doesn’t recognize the English transition words in the text.

I’m using WPML as plugin and first converted the page with the WPML Translation Editor to the right language. Because I also want to perform a content analysis of the English page I go to the normal WordPress page editor to see what suggestions Yoast gives me.

The transition word count remains on 0% until I add some dutch transition words so I guess Yoast doesn’t recognize that it’s an English page while the page in English is set as a translation of the dutch page and is also recognized by country flag as English.

Could somebody please advise me what to do about this and how to enable the content analysis of Yoast in English on my English pages and blogs?

    Best,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

Yoast SEO works on the site language. If the site language is in Dutch it will scan all the posts/pages in that language, regardless of what language the individual post is in. If you want to scan the English posts we suggest going to Settings-General-Site Language and then changing the language to English. Then reviewing the analysis.
