    Hi.

I thought I was being clever and attempted to add RSVPMaker shortcodes to my Elementor driven website. The idea was to describe an event briefly and just add an RSVP button to the text using something like

    [rsvpmaker_one format=”button_only” post_id=”6153″]

Although this appears to work, when I attempt to re-edit the page I get

Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.

I then have to deactivate RSVPMaker, or run Elementor in safe mode, and remove the shortcodes before I can properly edit the page again. I am currently using ‘Layers for Elementor’ as my theme, but I have tried with a number of themes and the result is the same. It seems the page can be edited if there is only one RSVPMaker shortcode on it, but not two or more.

Would it be possible to look into this, or am I asking for something that RSVPMaker was not designed for?

    Cheers,
    RottenSod.

I don’t use page builders so I can’t tell you what’s going on with Elementor specifically. If you post the same shortcode to a plain vanilla WordPress page does it display properly?

It displays properly in Elementor and vanilla pages. The problem is that I can’t reload the page in Elementor to edit it.

No worries, I’ll live with. Thank you for your time. I’ll mark this as resolved.
