• Hi all,

I have a WP blog for a few years, and I tried a few things that left my database with a lot of unnecessary junk. I also tried the network blog at some point, and I guess that left a few undesired traces on my database.

Now I realized that I have two databases with similar content. How can I find out how is that happening? Why is my content being duplicated between two databases?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Well, that’s really weird. Could you post something new and see if it gets recorded in both databases? ??

That’s the thing, I haven’t touched in that second database in months, and I saw there posts that I have scheduled for next week… I compared with the main database, and it’s also there.

Wow, didn’t expect that. Okay, so first try to deactivate all the plugins and see if new content gets added after that.

If yes then try to contact your hosting provider to see if they don’t create one for backup, which is very unlikely.

    Let me know. ??
