    I’ve wrote an article about adding a Featured Category Box of posts on the homepage.

    What you need is the same but instead of blocks (posts on top of each other) you need to style the posts inside the box as inline elements (like a row).

    You can put as many rows (queries) as you want (each row can take posts from different categories).
