Content covers background imaga

Hi.

I am using Twenty eleven theme. My problem is that my background image gets covered with the page content is the central box when central box is resized in the browser. I would not like for this to happen. Can I fix the central box size to 100% max? Because when it is 110% or 120% it starts covering the background image.
