I have created several groups two of which are “Lead” and “Office” with the purpose of limiting content to each group.

I set up the content for the “Lead” group. And it seemed to work after some fighting with my theme. But the User assigned to the “Office” group can also see the page.

In fact, any logged in user can see the page.

Content is restricted using this shortcode
    [groups_member group=”Lead”]
    Page content
    [/groups_member]

but rather than limiting access to the group the content is available to all logged-in users.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

If you are using slanted quotes, then the shortcode won’t take the parameters. It’s a common issue with shortcodes and not related to Groups itself.

    So this would be:

    WRONG: [groups_member group=”Lead”]

    CORRECT: [groups_member group="Lead"]

    Cheers
