content does not load

I have installed the pluggin.
added the class .modal-link to the linkthe plugin loads the lightbox frame but the content is not loaded
I get a JS error:jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 GET https://mydomain.com/wp-json/wp-post-modal/v1/any-post-type?slug=xxx/2017/08/01/second-article/&_=1502979835493 404 (Not Found)
