Content editor box no longer resizable in 5.8.3 with Classic Editor

The latest version of WordPress (5.8.3) no longer allows any of my sites using the Classic Editor the ability to resize the content editor box in text mode. The resize icon in the lower right of the editor does not appear either.

Therefore, when editing a large post with thousands of words, I have to scroll A LOT. Whereas previously I was able to resize the box to 30, 50, 70, etc. lines and the box would stay fixed to that size.

I’ve confirmed this is occurring on all of my sites using 5.8.3 and the Classic Editor plugin.
