Content egg and elementor problem

When using with Elementor to build pages I add a shortcode element, then add the generated shortcode. This displays as text but does not pull in the products whilst in the elementor view. However when publishing and viewing the post when not in elementor the products are there. Am I doing something wrong here? If I cant see the products in the elementor page builder its very difficult to build a page around the products. Other shortcodes such as woocommerse are working and displaying fine live in the elementor edit view.

Please help! plugin is great otherwise!
