• Hello,

I am using this wonderfull plugin but I am surprised there is no possibility to associate a content field to an event.

While clicking on one event date or title you fall on a very short page where there is place for an actual content.

Please, let me know why this is not possible by default and how to implement it.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kisses

    Hello,

While waiting for your response, I have been finding one intermediary solution while installing the extension “Rich text excerpts” and activating this only for event excerpts …

    Beter than nothing ??

Did you enable editor in plugin features support settings?

Yes, editor is enabled but events do not present a content fiels such as posts. Where are the events stored ? In a specific tableor in the post table ?

    Thanks in advance for help.

Events is just a native WP post type.

But where do you expect event field to appear? Can you post a screenshot? I just want to make sure we understand each other.

When creating a new post, you have these default fields :
    – title
    – content
    – extract
    – author
    – date
    – comments
    – …
And the “content” field is a big text field with full text editor.

When defining a new event, preferences enable to define the associated fields that are :
    – title
    – extract
    – beginning date
    – finishing date
    – author
    – comment
    – …
But no long text “content” filed may be associated to an event.

I need such long description for an event …
If it exists, please let me show how to activate it …

    Ok, I see now.

I asked you recently if “editor” is enabled in plugin support features option. If it is (please double check that) there must be a different plugin or theme code that’s removing the editor support from events.

No other options here – this is the most basic and enabled by default plugin feature.
