• I just started using Gutenberg Blocks. The Tabbed Content and Content Filter are just the type of thing I have been looking for. I have the tabbed content up an working and it is great.

Then I found Content Filter and it does an even better job of refining content. I think I might use both.

My problem is with Content Filter. I can’t seem to edit the category selections unless it is the last one on the page. I can assign the category selections as I go along adding content. But when try to go back and edit or add a selection to content later, the drop down shows for a second or so and fades away. When I try to click on the selection I want, (if I can before it fades) it actually selects what is underneath, which is from the next content item down.

Also, I if I click ever so slightly out of the content area, I suddenly wind up at the bottom of the page or hallway up somewhere and have to scroll back to find he spot I was.

I don’t know if I am communicating this well. I wish I could show you. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Hi @skahle,

Thank you very much for explaining the issue with details. I was able to reproduce it on my end.

You are not doing anything wrong at all. I believe it’s a bug on our side.

While we work on a fix for this, I have a temporary solution for you.

After you click the [+] icon to add a filter, without moving the mouse cursor click on Down Arrow on your keyboard. Then you will be able to select a filter from the dropdown list.

I understand this is not very efficient, but it’s the only temporary solution I have for you now.

We will work on the issue and hopefully come up with a permanent solution as soon as possible.

    Regards.

Thanks for your reply. I only just got this. The system didn’t send me an email.

I already tried that. When I click the down arrow, it just scrolls down the screen. Anyway, for now, I went into code editor and changed things manually.

Glad you are working on it.

Another issue is, if I decide to go back and select “Allow multiple selections” to an existing category, it breaks that category. That category in no longer available in the content and it doesn’t work on the display page.

    Hi @skahle,

We have a fix for that already. The fix will be available in the next update.

About selecting “Allow Multiple Selections” – the selected filters are cleared when you enable/select that option. Because when it was disabled, you couldn’t select two filters from the same category. But after enabling it, you can. So the dropdown list is regenerated.

We will look into that and see if we can improve it and not clear the selected filters when the option is enabled.

    Regards.
