• I’ve tried to search for this one, but keep getting the basic rundown of the loop, which I don’t need. What I want to do is pretty simple, I just need to know if it’s possible and how to do it?

I have two installations of wordpress, one the main site, the other the ‘blog’. The reason for this is to keep users on the main site from accessing the admin area for the blog (I have some editor level users on the main site.

BUT… I want to pull a list of recent posts from the blog and put them on the home page as a sort of “recent news” list. Right now I’m just using feedburner to pull them in via the feed, but that’s not ultimately the best solution.

I’ve tried using the loop and linking to the blog’s config file (it’s local, so I figured it should work), but it still pulls the main site’s articles. I’m sure I was just improvising there and don’t know the right way to do that.

So, can this be done at all? If so, anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks so much!
