• My posts & pages have all disappeared from this site: https://pro.kartlink.com/ and there’s also some weirdness in the title which I can’t copy and paste. Everything is in the database but it doesn’t show on the site.

The only thing I can think of is that I installed the Vanilla forum last night, it’s in a different folder but the same database.

  • I see the posts on your site. Got everything worked out?

No, I’m still getting “no posts matched your criteria”, but I’m glad it’s a problem at my end, not with the site! Thanks

Have you tried verifying that you have the correct write access to .htaccess so WordPress can write to it correctly? I had this problem before and when I upgraded to 1.5.1.3 the problem went away, but I can see you’re on 1.5.1.3

Verify that you have the .htaccess file set to chmod 755.

I just changed the .htaccess from 777 to 755, no change on my end. I’m going to go and find someone elses computer to see what’s going on there.

Yeah, it’s all there on the boyfriend’s PC too. Weird as hell!

Try deleting your browser cache and doing a force refresh (CTRL + F5). If the problem still persists, it may be down to a problem with your ISP.

I cleared the cache, but does anyone know what keys a force refresh is on a Mac? I don’t think it’s an ISP problem, my boyfriend’s PC connects through this iBook

Which browser are you using? Safari? Firefox? other?

I see posts on the homepage, single post, archive and category pages…

Amory, we established everyone else could see them ??

I still can’t see them in Firefox, but Safari is fine, so I think it’s a Firefox issue that I shouldn’t really clog up this board with.

Check if the same url which gives you no post found in firefox, when cut-n-pasted to safari, also exhibits the same/different behavior on safari.

BTW: I too use Firefox but on Windows 2000 which is, as you guessed, fine.
