content grayed out blank after installing sucuri plugin

    I am running DIVI 2.5 theme with latest version of wordpress. 2 days ago i installed SUCURI ‘Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Security Hardening’ plugin.I did bunch of hardening through this.
    I started noticing weird editing issues.i disabled and deleted SUCURI plugin .However editing issues persist. In the new page, a box appears to add the content.As admin,i can not see the exisitng content,just a gray blank box where content should be,however website does show content…just not to the admin.
    I have done reinstall of wordpress and theme but nothing happens.
    Also top admin edit tool bar is gone missing ?
    VERY frustrated.How do i get my site back before hardening?PLEASE HELP.
