    Hi guys,

    First off, I’m using the classic editor.

    When I was using Yoast, I was told how long (in words) the content was, so that this could be amended should the post only be a short one.

    On AIOSEO however, this feature is missing, and is either red (for too few words) or green (for enough words), with the comment in the SEO analysis:

    Content length 

The content is below the minimum of words. Add more content.

    How can I get the length of the content rather than be told ‘it’s too short’ in AIOSEO?

    Also, how can you turn off the readability section and results in the same SEO analysis?

    One more thing:

    In the social network previews, where you can see what will get posted to Twitter and Facebook, at the top of this preview is an AIOSEO logo.

    Does the AIOSEO logo also get posted to the respective social networks?

    We look for a minimum of 300 words for the Content-Length recommendation to pass.

    The Classic Editor shows the content length/word count below the text editor. Here’s a screenshot for a quick reference: https://a.supportally.com/i/GrdQvM

    You can use the word count shown by the Classic Editor for reference for the Content-Length recommendation.

    However, not all content will have 300 words or more so this recommendation can be safely ignored if it affects your content quality. It’s best to focus on the quality of your content rather than the number of words.

    With that said, I’ve added your vote for this to our internal Feature Request list. I’ll update you as soon as I have more details.

    Also, how can you turn off the readability section and results in the same SEO analysis?

    I’m sorry, but it is not possible to disable the Readability section or other parts of our Page Analysis feature.

    Does the AIOSEO logo also get posted to the respective social networks?

    The logo and the name “All in One SEO” is added in the preview as a dummy replacement for your profile image and profile name on Facebook and Twitter – When sharing the post, your profile image and name would be picked by the social media platforms.

    Thanks for pointing out the Classic Editor word count option – I never noticed that!

    A pity that the readability option is not able to be removed. I always disabled that on Yoast and considered it as unnecessary bloatware.

    I’m already adding the featured image to the Facebook and Twitter social networks options, and the AIOSEO logo at the top of the preview still shows.

    Maybe this should be disabled if there is an image already selected?

    We try replicating a similar preview that will be shown on Facebook and Twitter. However, as the profile details would change based on the account used to share the post, we use a dummy image and name in the preview.

    Could you please share a screenshot of the preview on your end along with the URL of that post/page, so I can see if everything is configured properly?

    Oh it’s all set up and configured properly except for THIS on Facebook, and for THIS on Twitter, giving an unwanted baby bunny rabbit advertising of AIOSEO.

    As mentioned in my previous reply, since this is a preview, we use this image just as a dummy replacement for Facebook and Twitter profile images.

    As anyone can share your post on Facebook or Twitter, the actual image and name would differ for each account sharing the post. Hence, we show a preview that contains a dummy image but not as an advertisement.

    Again, this image and name would get automatically replaced by the profile image and name of the user sharing the post on Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media platform.

    If you want to see an actual preview of the post on Facebook (and debug any issues), you can use the Facebook’s Debugger tool: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    For Twitter, you can create a draft post on Twitter to see the actual preview as they’ve stopped showing the image in their Card Validator tool (https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator).

    Yes I get it, but having to use various tools from Twitter and Facebook to see how your images would show, hardly inspires confidence, does it?

    Out of all of the other SEO plugins, AIOSEO is the only one with a plugin logo on it.

    Hi @deeveearr,

    That image is the profile picture of the person sharing a URL to their Facebook or Twitter feed. We’re not able to show the profile image of someone sharing your content which is why we display our logo in the social preview.

    The placeholder image would not have any effect on the post when it’ll be shared on Facebook or Twitter.

    No it’s not, it’s a cartoon of a fox.

    The whole idea of a logo being present on the social sharing image (whether it can be seen or not on the final image) smacks purely of AIOSEO advertising.

    Hi @deeveearr,

    As my colleague has said, this is just a placeholder image because we can’t show the profile image of the person sharing your content when you’re on the Edit Post screen. That’s why we show a placeholder.

    I hope this clears up any confusion.
