Hello @havig
Can you please tell me how you are embedding the video?
Hello @ampforwp
There is NO video on the AMP Page.
Otherwise, I add it to the Custom Amp Pages and do it the traditional WP way. That’s why I take the time to create a Custom Content page for ever Post.
Also, please provide me with an answer on my other tickets. I cannot update/move forward until you do. I don’t want to have a 5,000 visitor drop because of lack of analytics like it happened last time. Thanks.
Hello @havig
Regarding the video is not showing can you please paste this script into a head section of our plugin in advance setting and check if it works or not.
<script async custom-element=”amp-youtube” src=”https://cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-youtube-0.1.js”></script>
Regarding the analytics field, I have replied to you on the thread which you have created please check it.
Hello @ampforwp
Perfect. I will do that tomorrow (I will be testing updating the plugin as well) I’m crossing my fingers that all goes well.
Thank you for the answer to the analytics field! It’s very useful!
Hello @havig
Yes, you can update the plugin and I am sure all will goes well but if you face any issue then our team is there to help you to solve the issues.
Thank you.
Hi @ampforwp,
I updated the plugin on Argen-travel.com. No 500 errors. Thank goodness. Problem: Analytics is being tracked Twice.
I removed the manual tag I had to add earlier when there was no tag:
<!– Google Tag Manager –>
<amp-analytics config=”https://www.googletagmanager.com/amp.json?id=GTM-XXXXXXX>m.url=SOURCE_URL” data-credentials=”include”></amp-analytics>The problem is still there.
The error Tag Assistant on Chrome points to when clicked is:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/asyncMigrationExamplesI use Universal Analytics, so that is not on my side. Why is it being tracked twice?
This is way bad: Also why is it being tracked by GA instead of Google Tag Manager?
Release not working as expected. I will add my code under Advanced Options to avoid issues with my GoogleTagManager Tags not firing until there’s a working solution.
Thanks!
Never mind. I fixed it.
If you use Google Tag Manager, the analytics field SHOULD BE EMPTY.
I’ll keep on checking and making sure it all works.
Hello @ampforwp,
Here are a few things I need your help with:
#1- I can see the kk ratings plugin does not translate well to AMP and shows: 5 (100%) 13 votes under a repetition of the title (that is not on the original page) – How can I avoid this? Also will this happen if I use Custom Content for AMP?
#2- I love being able to insert Related Posts in the middle of the article but (and this is just a usability thing) could we add a top and bottom line as visual separators for better experience to the visitor? I put it in there and I get confused by it all the time.
#3- Some of the images for Related Posts are not populated (but are shown as a featured image) Example: https://argen-travel.com/things-to-visit-in-patagonia/amp/
#4- Cannot enable Advanced Single Options under Design >> Single
#5- Same as #4 but with Advanced Footer Design. Both Options disable themselves after refreshing the page so it seems that the change does not Commit.
#6- Same as Advanced Header Design
#7- GDPR Compliancy for European Union stops showing ads in the USA without prompting for anything. (I disabled it for now) Let me know what to test.
Please, let me know if you need additional information. This is all I discovered so far.
Thanks!!
Havi
I am adding more AMP errors to the above mentioned (especially #7 – Adsense Ads do NOT show when GDPR enabled and #3 images not being rendered)
To owner of https://argen-travel.com/,
Search Console has identified that your site is affected by 2 new AMP related issues. This means that AMP may be negatively affected in Google Search results. We encourage you to fix these issues.
Top new issues found, ordered by number of affected pages:
#1 – Missing URL for attribute ‘src’ in tag ‘amp-img’.
https://argen-travel.com/how-do-argentineans-eat/amp/
#2 – Invalid value for attribute in layout ‘width’ in tag ‘amp-img’
https://argen-travel.com/how-do-argentineans-eat/amp/
Thanks!
Researching further, both the missing images AND the Validation Error are related to the same issue:
Line 3:38633 <amp-img src=”” width=”” height=”” layout=”responsive”></amp-img><div class=”related_link”><a href=”https://….
Not finding the source, it does not find the width or height.
Invalid AMP Page.
Support?
Guys,
Been waiting for 5 days… any updates?
Hello havig
I have already replied to you on the thread which is created by you for all these issues.
I am closing this thread.
Hi @ampforwp,
Why don’t we close the other one and leave this one as this one has more information?
Thanks!
Havi
Hello havig
its because you have created multiple threads for the same issues it’s better for me and you as well for the understanding purpose.
and your other thread which has the same issue is active so you can post your issue there.
Thank you.
