Content not found & homepage working very sloq

  • Hi!

    Since yesterday I have this problem on my blog: first I tried to upload a new post and I received the follwing:

    Content not found

    The content you are looking for could not be found.

    Then I managed to publish the post (https://www.viennareviews.info/patara-2/), yet every photo I click on in that post opens in a new page with the same message

    I have never had this problem before and am at a loss as to how to fix it. I’m using the theme pinboard (version 1.0.7).

    The second problem I have is that the homepage works really slow (e.g. when I want to scroll etc.). Any idea why that might be ?

  • Can you revert to Twenty Eleven theme temporarily and see if the problem persists?

    I just did and the problem is still there…

    I just had a look and clicked on the first image on the page that you linked above. As you say, it shows the NOT FOUND error. Rightfully so, as the image is linked to a nonexistent page:
    https://www.viennareviews.info/patara-thai-restaurant/patara2/

    Check if you have the above post/link? If not link to a page/ post that exists and try.

    /patara-2/ means that you have duplicate pages. You already deleted the first page where your uploaded your pictures.

    Look through your /patara-2/ page code and see those errors.

    thank you thank you thank you. I didn’t realize the pictures keep the address of the first page even if that first page doesn’t exist anymore.

    I’m sorry to bother you, but I promise this is my last question: do you think the slowness when you try to scroll down on the first page is due to the fact that the slider is too large or something else ?
