Content not restricted

    Hi, new to wordpress.
    Installed and configured the plugin and selected restrict to the public role.
    But it did not restrict the content. I also tried all the other similar plugins to restrict content and nothing worked. All content remained available to the public.

    I did try another option: setting a page to Private and then allowing Private viewing for the logged in user but not the public. That works fine, but I would prefer to use this plugin.

    any suggestions? or how to troubleshoot?

    Hi thombody,

    Once you restricted the content for public, did you log out to test? As this option only restricts content for logged out users.

    That could be the cause of the issue.

    thanks for writing back. Yes, I did log out and tested on another computer. I think I have a problem with the WP installation perhaps. thanks.
