• Hello,

I’m trying to display the contents of my mega menu but it doesn’t work. I created the templates via Elementor and then selected them in the menu administration. But their contents are not displayed, there are only the navigation titles.

Someone have an idea of solution ?

  • Hello @killiandev7,

    Thank you for reaching out,

Please provide the URL of a live website.
Is the menu you put in Elementor the OceanWP shortcode for the menu([oceanwp_nav])? I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end: https://postimg.cc/xX3W9N2z.

It may be a plugin conflict, or you use a plugin that needs to be configured; for troubleshooting, please perform a basic troubleshooting checkup method and make sure the issue is related to our theme or plugin(s). To do this, deactivate all other plugins, then activate them one by one and check for this issue. Continue doing this until you find out what product is causing a conflict with our product.

    Best Regards

    Hello @killiandev7,

It’s related to how you build those sections; And the header is not for OceanWP theme.
To solve this, find the header section, then go to the advanced tab and set the value for z-index:
    https://elementor.com/help/section-overview/#:~:text=Z%2Dindex%3A%20Set%20the%20Z%2DIndex.%20Learn%20more%20about%20Z%2DIndex

    I hope it helps.

    Hello @skalanter,

unfortunately your solution don’t work. I forgot to say that the “TEST MM” menu are the only one menu of the navbar which contains thoses mega menus. The other fact that is strange is that when I inspect the HTML code inside the “TEST MM” there is no trace of mega menu class list…

    Hello @killiandev7,

    Thank you for reaching out,

As I mentioned earlier, the header menu on your website is not related to OceanWP.

I saw no mega menu class for the “TEST MM” menu item; I can only see a dropdown; please check this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/ZB1CkpkMand this one: https://postimg.cc/BLyNdYnf. Please check the menu doc and settings.

If you didn’t find any solution, please get in touch with the page builder plugin plugin author. Maybe they have a solution that we are not aware of.

If you want to create a mega menu with OceanWP theme, please follow the steps explained in this article: https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/149-how-to-create-mega-menus.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards
