Content Permissions feature not working

    Your docs say: “The Content Permissions feature adds an additional meta box on the post editing screen.”

    The meta box is not showing on the page editor.

    I’m using the Kadence Theme, with a Child Theme with very little customization so far.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks for reaching out Members Support Team!

    I tried to reproduce the issue from my end. I installed Kadence theme but everything works fine from my end.

    I recommend doing the following steps:

    • Try deactivating all plugins except for Members and check if the issue persists. If so, identify the conflicting plugin by deactivating each one individually. You can use this plugin to help with the process.
    • Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme to determine if the issue is theme-related.

    Let me know your findings.

    Thank you for this.

    I switched to the 2024 WP theme, disabled all plugins, deleted and then reinstalled Members. Still no luck.

    For what it’s worth, on another site where it’s working (and all the settings are the same), the div with id=members-cp has class=”postbox”, but on the site where I’m having the problem it says class=”postbox closed”.

    Not sure how that came to be, but maybe you know?

    Ugh. I apologize. It was as simple as allowing Content Permissions in the Page Editor Preferences – General – Advanced. Sorry for wasting your time!
