    Profile Builder Free 2.9.8 & WP 5.1.1 & Twenty Fifteen
    Content restriction work fine for pages, not do not work for mediafiles.
    if i now directlink to mediafile then i can download it without login. although the display options for this file are configured only for “logged in users”. On page “Content Restriction Settings” Enable Content Restriction – Yes.

    Unfortunately our plugin is only capable of restricting access to pages and posts, so you can hide the link to the media file and restrict access to the media attachment pages, but if someone has the direct link to a file they will be able to access it.

    There is the Media Vault plugin that could help with this, but it has not been updated in quite a while, so you could encounter issues trying to use it.
