Content restriction doesn’t work for CPT

    Hello everyone!

    I’m using Ultimate Member and would like to restrict access to a specific CPT per user role. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work. Another user as reported a similar issue 5 months ago, which was never resolved: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/restriction-on-custom-post-types-not-working/

    I’m on the latest version of UM. Access does not get restricted for the CPT, even if I click “Restrict access to this content” when editing an individual post and the option “Show access restricted message” is selected. Access is only restricted if the user is redirected.

    The other user reported this 5 months ago and this hasn’t been fixed. I would be grateful for some insight by the creators of this plugin, as I am considering getting the Extensions Bundle for a new project that’s in the pipeline.

    I have checked the box in front of the CPT in Ultimate Members –> Settings –> Access under “Restricted Access to Posts”. I’m assuming this should restrict access to the specified CPT automatically?
