Content Restriction Role Access Not Sticking

I am trying to restrict access to pages based on role using the content restriction options. Only logged in users with certain roles are able to access some pages but when I try to select one of the roles it doesn’t save after updating and refreshing the page. The role I’m attempting to add is a role created by our support addon WSDesk. This seems to be a new issue because I haven’t had any problem adding this role to the restrictions before.

I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins and changed my theme to a default to see if there are any conflicts and even after doing that it still isn’t working.

Any idea why this might be happening?
