The button does restrict visitors who are not logged in, but it needs to revert to the button – only unauthorized text shows. Even when the site is opened on another computer only unauthorized text shows. What have I missed in the settings?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

as I soon discovered. When you are logged in the button doesn’t even show. What am I missing here? Thanks.

The button finally restored when I’m logged in. What gives?

    I guess it works?

    Hi.

With this limited informaiton, my guess is that your page is being cached and hence you are seeing either of the states.

Makes sense, cause it keeps doing the same thing. Only the unauthorized text shows if the button is clicked on by a visitor. After a while the button is restored especially when I login and I clear the cache often in development.

For this case I can create a workaround with a no word and a hard to find button. But can you suggest a solution in settings, or custom CSS? Like when the button is triggered by unauthorized visitor, the button restores after so many minutes of showing the unauthorized text.

I’m not using the plugin with Memberpress, but I was considering using it on another site with Memberpress.

You’ll have to disable cache for that particular page. Ideally your caching plugin will have an option to exclude pages from cache

    Thanks
