Content type inside another content type

Hi,
I’m working on a web site about an art gallery and i would like to have your experienced advice about the plugins would fit the best.
There must have an easy back-office where the client can customize all the info and i’m having truble to do it on wordpress as i’m used to work on drupal.

So i explain the situation:
There has to be a content type called “expo”, with fields like name and date.
Each expo has some artists linked to it with their own fields as a secondary content type called “artist”.

I’ve seen the Custom Content Type Manager plugin and i think it would fit very good to create the artist content type, but how can i make those relationships ?
