Try as I might the background color remains the same color as the font. Is there a way to eliminate the background color when using an image. I try deleting the color code but that doesn’t work.

Can you send me a screenshot of which area on that page you are referencing? I am not seeing any background color when I view that page.

I had taken out the Content component – it is now reinstalled.

I left the background color blank but as you can see the color is there.

What does the shortcode look like in the text view of your post editor?

[aesop_content color=”#FFFFFF” background=”none” width=”80%” columns=”1″ position=”none” img=”https://sendasos.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/2476238686_c48328df8c_o-copy.jpg” imgrepeat=”no-repeat” floaterposition=”left” floaterdirection=”up”]Sheridan Clark is an expert in antiquities relating to music, and the former conductor of the Vatican choir who has now fallen on hard times. He is recruited by a shady U.N. operative, to retrieve the Baton of Shambhala, an ancient artifact said to be used by the Archangel Lucifer to direct the chorus of heaven before his fall from grace. They journey to the Himalayas, where Sheridan is led to the lost city of Shambhala. There, Sheridan retrieves the Baton from the top of the King’s Tower and receives a spirit message from an ageless sage who reveals Sheridan’s true quest: Sheridan must find the three sacred Chintamani Stones that form the base of the baton. If he does this, the Song of Shambhala will be revealed. But he has only until the time of the Last Sunset to complete the task, or the world will be plunged into darkness. What follows is a world-trekking adventure – cast on the backdrop of iconic sacred sites – that tells the tale of an inspirational fable woven into the fabric of history and legend.

Does it work to change the text color to #333333 and background to #FAFAFA?

    Thread Starter songofshambhala

    (@songofshambhala)

That gave me a white background with black letters:

is there a way to make the background opaque or clear?

It should be clear with the above settings that you had, but it appears like this may be a theme’s styles overriding Aesop’s styles. We have this in our issue tracker and will be looking fix this.
