content word limit doesn′t work

    Hello,
    I am having problem when using “excerpt” for a post. I am using the following code.

    [bdp_post design=”design-2″ grid=”3″ show_date=”false” show_author=”false” show_tags=”false” show_comments=”false” show_category=”false” content_words_limit=”7″ media_size=”thumbnail” limit=”6″ category=”blog”]

    Most posts don′t have an excerpt. For those the shortcode works fine and shows only 7 words of the content. However, when I add a text as “excerpt” to a post it will show the full excerpt text in the blog post overview. I am adding the excerpt text in Elementor pagebuilder, if that makes any difference.

    Yes, I have checked the same scenario at my end and yes, content words limit is not working on post excerpt.

    Thanks for letting me know. I will update the plugin with this fix in two to three working days and update you about this.

    I have just updated the plugin News & Blog Designer Pack version 3.1 with the content_words_limit parameter fix.

    Kindly update the plugin to the latest version and check with it. I hope your problem will be solved.
