Contest Gallery not appearing on website

Hi, we are trying to set up the Contest Gallery plugin in the “Guides” tab of our website, but for some reason the plugin keeps disappearing after creating a gallery.

Here what we did:
– Create a gallery
– Add pictures (just 2 for now) and activate them
– add the shortcode [cg_gallery id=”1″] on our “guides” page.

The gallery showed up for 2 seconds and then disappears everytime we go back to it. If I create another gallery and change the id on the guides page it shows up again and then disappears… is there something blocking the plugin from appearing frontend?
