Context sensitive Mailpoet subscription widget

Users have the option of subscribing to my Mailpoet newsletter as they register on my site, and I don’t want newsletter subscriptions from unregistered people. If they don’t, the question is where/how I should allow them to subscribe later. I have comments disabled, so not there. The obvious answer is on their WordPress profile page, but that doesn’t seem to be possible. The subscription widget, displaying a subscription form, is the next option. However I only want it to appear it they are logged in and not subscribed. And I already have their email address, so I only need the subscribe checkbox. The widget appears to offer none of these context specific options & behaviours. So is there any way to achieve the context specific behaviour that I need? Thanks ??
