I’m doing a WordPress staging site on my computer ( using local by flywheel ). I’m trying to stick to using the native wp-Gutenburg blocks. When using the Google Map from Gutenberg blocks I continually get this notification

“Where this notice is displayed in place of a map, agreeing to this notice will store a cookie recording your agreement so you are not prompted again.”

I click the “I agree” button and submit and the map shows up – great ! When restarting the staging site -it’s back to the same message and the ‘I agree’ button to click on before the map shows up again – so I’m prompted again – every time.

I tried replicating this scenario using Elementor and the map continually show ups after restarting the staging site without any prompts.

The question is – can I expect this behaviour from Google Maps when it goes live ? or is this some sort of quirk with staging locally with flywheel and/ or using Gutenburg blocks ?
Any advice would be appreciated – thank you.

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we really appreciate your time.

Might I kindly ask you to get in touch with us directly via our website?

We may need to take a closer look at your setup in order to determine what the culprit of this issue may be.
