Continue Read links not working properly

I have the blog page set it so it just shows the beginning of older blogs, but when you click on continue reading it takes you to the latest blog not that exact blog that you wanted. I have made some modifications and my blog page is not my home page. I can see that the link is just pointing to my blog page. How do I make the link right?
