Continue Reading Link Leads to Dead Link

I’ve been having a problem with the “continue reading” link, as it will result in a dead link from the homepage to the blog post. This occurs in some browsers – Safari, Mozilla, IE – but not in Chrome. This problem has been occurring for 10-12 days now.

If I go back into the post and delete the <!–more–> code and re-insert it, that seems to solve the problem. But not before I have people notifying me of the dead link and unhappy clients due to the dead link. I am running the Thesis Classic Responsive Skin.

Any suggestions to prevent the recurrence would be much appreciated!
