"Continue reading" settings

    I need to do two things.

    First of all, I would like to modify the text of the “Read more” button. I mean I would like to change it from the English text “Continue reading”, to the Italian text “Leggi tutto”. How can I do?

    The “reception” theme doesn’t allow to put the “read more” button in the position of the text I need. Automatically every article displays a certain number of words, then “Continue reading” button, even if I do not put the “read-more” tag in the article. So it is not possibile not display “Continue reading”. If I put the the “read-more” tag in a desired position of the post, it doesn’t work: the article appears in the same way as if I don’t put tag.

    Hi,

    That happens because the theme displays the excerpt of posts with the the_excerpt() function and not the whole content with the the_content() function.

    Most WordPress themes display excerpts, not the full content, and that’s exactly what the Reception theme does.
