We have already similar way to make that with Botiga Pro (premium version) though the Hooks feature. Learn more about the hooks here: https://docs.athemes.com/article/pro-hooks-system/

We have an working example in the Pro Jewelry demo: https://demo.athemes.com/botiga-furniture/product/bedroom-wall-closet// Make sure you add a product to the cart to see the “Go Back” button. You might insert custom HTML before or after the cart table. Also, it could be buttons instead of just simple links.

I already did it for my store using jQuery, but your solution using the hooks is much more easier. I confess that I didn’t notice that and I’ll try it.
