Contributor moderate comments

  • I have the Role Manager plugin installed and I gave my contributors (I have several) the role of “moderate_comments”. I apologize if this has been answered before but I couldn’t find anything about it. I gave them the role but they still can’t do anything with the comments–approve, edit, reply, etc. All I really want them to be able to do is reply to the comments (and I’d be fine with admins having to approve their reply, although that isn’t necessary). Any help anyone could provide would be really appreciated. Thanks!

    jordan, did you find a solution? I have the same problem, I also installed the Role Manager and enabled “moderate comments” for the Contributor role.
    However, the contributors cannot moderate comments. There is no tick box next to each comment on the list for the contributors to select, to approve it.

    If you found a solution, please post it or if you found an alternative plugin, please post info. Thanks!
