I am using a Woocommerce Gravity Forms Product Add-on plugin that integrates custom fields into a product. Once a buyer purchases the product, the custom fields she or he submits gets sent to PayPal with the Woocommerce order information. Is there a way that I can prevent the custom fields data from being passed to PayPal?

My reason is that the product form is an application that includes 50+ fields. Upon receiving a PayPal email notification of a purchase, I do not wish to include the overwhelming field data. I just want to display basic order information.

  • Hi there @ericreynolds007 ??

Thanks for reaching out, let’s figure out why things are not lining up! I understand that PayPal is the only payment gateway set up at the store and, since the product form includes 50+ fields (“the product”, from now on), they get sent in its entirety to PayPal after the order is submitted. Correct?

Could you please share the site’s URL and a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.?

Additionally, could you also provide us with the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve copied each, you can either paste them in your response here, or use https://pastebin.com/ for pasting it there and sharing it with us.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
