Controling number of posts displayed…

Erm, nevermind. Scratch that. I was making it too complicated – I thought that I had to code it. It’s in the admin panel under:

Options>>Reading>>Show at most x posts/days.

Sure. Go to Options->Reading and change it to whatever you like (number of posts or age of posts).

Well, as long as I’ve started a thread, I might as well ask a real question then. Is there a way to code it? As in, could I force, say, a category to override the option set in the admin panel?
