Controlling images in blog post list

  • I’m wrestling with the way images show up in the list of blog posts. If I write a post that uses Insert Media for the prime (top) image, there is no thumbnail in the list of posts. If I set a Feature Image, I get my thumbnail but I can no longer use the WordPress tools that let me include a photographer credit with the photo, plus that creates a duplicate of the prime image. Tips?

    You can go to Appearance -> Customize -> Theme Options -> Single Post -> Uncheck Show single post thumbnail, see my screenshot https://cl.ly/21c74afdf868

    It will remove the thumbnail (featured image) in the single post content then you can use both featured image (for blog posts) and photographer credit (for post content).
