• This is driving me nuts.
I want to eliminate the “no comments yet”, “reply”, and the comment box that shows up on some pages. I am using WP as a paid article membership site, not a blog. No comments, no replies, etc.
The theme I am using is Expressions, if that matters.
How do I stop all of the above from appearing on any pages?

  • To disable comments on future Pages/Posts, uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” in Settings -> Discussion. Then edit each published Page or Post and uncheck “Allow comments” in each case. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

If you continue to have problems, please post in https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/expressions

I will post on theme forum, but FYI, I have everything unchecked on settings/discussions, and still pages keep coming up with the comments, reply and comment box stuff. It just will not go away!

Actually, this problem is not theme-centric. I have tried a number of themes now, and all of them have the comments, reply, etc text and box on them. Nothing seems to disable that.
Does anyone have any idea how to completely get rid of comments and replies from all pages? Under settings/discussions, I have everything unchecked. I have nearly turned off everything hoping to find the trigger to get rid of this, but to no avail.
