controlling the facebook shared image size in wordpress

I’ve noticed that a direct post to facebook yeilds a nice big image, but a post to my wordpress site, that pipes over to my facebook yeilds a tiny little image with the text next to it. I want to post to my site and have it share on my facebook page in a more attractive way. I want the image large with the text above or below it. How can I do that?
