conversion from virtue to ascend

  • hi! i am using virtue theme for my shop but i have seen that ascend theme has more options for shops like products showing in homepage best mobile menu and others…do you reccomend changing theme? how shoul i do it? i am using a virtue child theme dont even remember why di i do that how should i make the change would i lose data in the process? would it affect my plugins and woocommerce store somehow?

    Hey,
    All of your content would be saved if you switched themes, but your settings and widgets would all need to be re-set.
    If you want to add products to your homepage with Virtue you can do so by creating a static homepage and adding a shortcode like this: [products limit="8" columns="4"] Then from Settings > Reading set your front page display to static and choose this page. Then enable Page Content in the homepage layout manager from Theme Options > Home Layout.
