• Hi i am looking to get a website https://poolstar.net/ thats currently on godaddy website tonight moved over to a wordpress graphene, has anyone done this before and got some guide on how to and best practices?

  • There is no importer that will automate that process, so far as I know. Rebuilding your original page structure in WordPress and doing a “cut-n-paste” of your old content into the new site is pretty much the way to go.

    It may be a pain in the butt, but worth it in the long run. Website Tonight is a crummy product; no wonder they give it away fro free. :-/

    Ok thanks for the info is shall give that a shot. Do i just install wordpress on godaddy and then cut and paste across so that i can remain on the same domain name and hosting company? That video you mentioned didnt come through?

    Yes you can install on GoDaddy… be sure that you have a copy of everything from the old site before you do it though, as you may not have access to both sites at the same time like you’re thinking.

    I found the video by doing a search on youtube… I imagine you might find it (or better) if you try it yourself.
