Convert phpbb posts to WordPress posts

Dear folks,

We’d like to make “modern” WordPress posts out of our old posts (articles) that were running on phpbb.

But so far we just found info and plugins on how to transfer phpbb posts to bbforum in WordPress.

So for example we’d like to convert an article like this https://www.diedenker.org/inhalte/viewtopic.php?t=1383 (running on phpbb, think it was version 2) into a wordpress article like this https://www.diedenker.org/inhalte/manifest-fuer-ein-gutes-leben/

So the phpbb post title should get a wordpress title, the post image (which will mostly be included from an external source) should be included (via external image tag) into the new wordpress article, the date of the phpbb article should get the date of the wordpress article, etc.

If you know a solution for this (for example by exporting the old phpbb table and convert it, or by parsing, or the like), or if you want to offer a paid one, please tell us!
