convert short code to link

  • Please note I have forms on my site and I want to link a image to the form, the form has a short code
    [wpforms id=”1601″]
    But if you click on the image it only gives option to add URL

    Please help – how do I convert the shortcode….I am totally new at this so do not understand coding or anything difficult.

  • the shortcode is to make the form appear in your content. If you want a button to link then the button must link to the page the form is on.

    Thank you however WP Forms is not on a page – I don’t want it to link to a page, I want to click on a button and this must open the form, I thought you could click on a picture insert link and then the form pops up.

    Where is the form going to be located? It has to be on a page or a modal popup.
