? Convert shortcode to mail tag

  • Hi,

    I’ve put some code into CF7’s functions.php to generate a mixed value (date/time & random number) and produce a shortcode. It’s correctly shown in CF7 order form. But I’m not able to get it into the emails. I even tried to work with hidden input fields, but nothing… Testing with visible fields, shortcode value is shown, but desired mail tags are not in function.

    Where do I think wrong? Want to use my mixed value as unique order ID w/out using consecutive numbers.

    Nowhere, because it’s a mini shop created for a friend selling some handcrafts ??

    I thought that there would be a usual way to generate mail tags (like my successfully created shortcode), for expl. The right links would be OK, I don’t need individual code samples. Thanks.
