Converting my website to wordpress. help needed

  • Hello everybody,

    For a client I am working on a website which I now want to convert to WP.
    Converting the layout is no problem for me but something is bothering me.

    On the site I want the homepage navigation link to be selected when youre on the homepage. Each page should have this effect. Also the colored rectangle should change color as you click on the pages.

    It should be like this: https://www.hobbieblog.nl/bo2d/index.html

    How can I achieve this in WP?

  • Try checking the page source markup and then editing the theme’s stylesheet accordingly.

    Ok but I dont have a clue what to change or where to begin?

    What should I edit?

    To edit the stylesheet, go to Appearance/Editor in your admin panel and select “Stylesheet.”

    If you use Firefox, have a look at the Firebug add-on. It’s extremely useful for identifying what CSS affects which elements on the final page.
