Converting tiff images?

Greetings!
I was hoping to be able to convert my tiff images to jpg. There doesn’t seem to be an option in the settings panel and when I uploaded a tiff image, no luck. Do I need to do anything special? Do I have to run it from the command line to make it work?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
