    Hello,

I have taken a look at both sites and noted that https://titz.tz-stadtschlaining.at/ is missing the banner container code. It seems that the wizard is not completely finished. Does the banner appear on the Consent banner menu when you click on finish on the last menu of the wizard in Complianz Dashboard?

Additionally, I noticed that both sites share the same main domain URL “tz-stadtschlaining.at”. Are you using a multisite environment?

    Looking forward to hear you.

    Hi Antoiub,

    thanks for your reply!
The banner is looking great after finishing the wizard in the Dashboard:

Each website is standalone, there is no multisite environment set up.

Your help is very much appreciated.

    Hello,

Since each site is standalone and one of them behaves differently despite appearing similar, it’s important to investigate the differences. On the site https://titz.tz-stadtschlaining.at/, some cmplz code seems to be missing. To troubleshoot this, try deactivating all plugins and switching to the default theme. Then, enable one plugin at a time to identify any conflicts.

    Please keep me updated.

    Hello Thomas,

are you using a cache plugin like WP Rocket? If yes, please follow this guide to whitelist our JS https://complianz.io/javascript-delay-in-wp-rocket-and-other-caching-and-optimization-plugins/.

Furthermore the WordPress theme is the same for both websites or it’s different? If it’s different please try to change the theme to a standard WordPress one like “Twenty-Twenty-Four” and check again.

    Hi antoiub, hi leonardo,
I deactivated all plugins, switched to the Twenty-Twenty-Four Theme. With just this theme and the complianz plugin turned on, it still didn’t appear in the front end. Also there aren’t any errors appearing in the console.

Furthermore, I don’t have any caching plugin installed so this shouldn’t be the issue.

    What else can I do?
    Thanks and BR

    Hello,

if you’re using a custom theme for both websites for the header.php you should have <?php wp_head();?> just before </head> and for footer.php you should have <?php wp_footer();?> just before the </body> tag.

If you don’t have those parameters you should create them, you can find a similar case here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/complianz-banner-does-not-appear/.

    Hi,

i double checked: both lines of the PHP code are present in the theme files (it is a standard theme from the themes page). I also tried to uninstall complianz incl. removing all data from the plugin, reinstalled it and went through the complete assistant process. I still have the same outcome.

Thanks for helping with this issue!

    Hello @hlanda,

Could you please list all of your plugins? Additionally, during the process of saving or finishing the wizard, could you open the browser inspector to check for any errors appears in the console?
If you check this screenshot (https://prnt.sc/bpn_kof23afD) you will see that in https://titz.tz-stadtschlaining.at/ the cmplz code is not even injected.

    Looking forward to hearing you.

    Hi

this is the list of plugins, wordpress itself is up to date:
    https://ibb.co/VpNy3WW

And yes, I see that not all code is being included in the HTML/Called by PHP.
However, something is happening in the back as the CSS Style sheets are being loaded.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @hlanda ,

Thank you, another question. During the process of saving or finishing the wizard, could you open the browser inspector to check for any errors appears in the console? This is crucial to see if anything relevant is happening in background.

    Hello @hlanda ,

Could you please recreate the .htaccess file? It could be that some rules have been rewritten by other plugins like Wordfence or other security/performance plugins.

Let me know if this resolves the issue.
