Cookie bar keep appear

    Hello

    I am seeing in this forum that some users had the same issue as me: the cookie banner appeared again after saving all cookies. I found this topic : https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/cookies-banner-appearing-once/. I tried the site in an incognito window and I don′t have the issue.

    I see the following “After you disable active caching plugins…” i have WP 5.7.2 and WP Super cache 1.7.3. ( which just updated) I cleared the cache in WP but still the issue is there.

    Hello @mcaso,

    I don’t seem to have this issue when visiting your site, I have verified this in several different browsers and regions using a VPN.

    This leads me to believe that it is probably caused by browser caching. Could you try visiting the page in Incognito/Private Browsing mode, to see if the problem persists?

    Thank you so much, I cleared again the cache and now it seems to work fine if I am in a language ( for example English) and I accept all the cookies I don′t see the bar anymore however if I change the language I see the cookie bar again. This is the normal behavior?

    Hi @mcaso,

    I just noticed that on the German version, I seem to be experiencing the same issue where the Cookie banner reappears.

    I think this is caused by the use of the “qTranslate” plugin that is currently used for translations. We have out-of-the-box support for PolyLang and WPML, and also have documentation on how to use configure plugins with Complianz, so it might be advisable to switch to one of these supported plugins instead.

    Hi

    Yes, we are thinking to do that because Qtranslate does not have support anymore. So, I think we can close the issue, because now the problem as you said seem to be for Qtranslate.
