    Hello, I’ve integrated the plugin to my website, however every time I click on it I get redirected to a blank tab.

    The plugin works as intended, but the fact that clicking on every interactive button opens new blank tab is quite annoying. Any ideas of what it could be?

    Hi @sanana94,

    I have never seen that behavior before when using Complianz, so I would currently expect that this behavior is the result of some other script or plugin on your site.

    I see that you have quite a number of Custom JS snippets added, so let’s start by ruling these out as being potentially related.

    If you temporarily disable the Custom Snippets plugin, does the issue persist? I would recommend trying the same for other potentially related plugins on the site, as when you disable a specific plugin and that resolves the issue; you’ll know that it is likely to be related.

    Hello,

    Thank you for this. I was stuck for a while.

    Deactivating Simple Custom CSS and JS, fixed it.
    However as it is a necessary plugin right now I will have to find what is causing it.

    The good news is that the issue is not there on other parts of the website. ??

    You can close this as it’s not an issue with your plugin!

    Glad to hear that you’ve already narrowed it down to that plugin, and happy to hear that Complianz wasn’t responsible ??

    Most-likely it’s there is just one of the snippets that you have enabled in the plugin that causes the behavior to occur.

    You can therefore apply similar troubleshooting steps as previously provided (disabling snippets in that plugin one-by-one, until the issue no longer occurs) to determine which exact snippet is responsible.

    It was indeed a snippet of code that was messing with the buttons. I found it and fixed it. Thank you so much
